The lone girl of the family doesn’t think the McQuaid legacy of love can be hers. But is it within her reach after all?
As the event manager for Healing Springs Ranch, Emberly McQuaid works hard to prove her worth to her family. When an international banking group arrives at the ranch and her best personal concierge falls ill, Emberly has no choice but to step in and assist their most illustrious guest, the young and handsome CEO, Max Berg.
During his stay at the ranch, Prince Max is keeping his royalty a secret, hoping to escape the paparazzi along with the increasing pressure to marry a duchess by his birthday. He resists telling Emberly about his heritage because he likes that she doesn’t try to impress him. Even though he’s a workaholic, Max finds himself setting aside his duties to spend time with the beautiful redhead.
Feelings quickly escalate between the two, but they know a relationship can’t go anywhere.
When they get stranded together in a mountain cabin, it’s all too easy to let the emotion of their time together sweep them away. But will they be able to overcome the obstacles that stand between them and find a way to be together?
- Secret prince
- Only girl in family
- Overprotective brothers
- He falls fast

* The inspirational themes in this book are light, and the romance is the primary focus. While the romance is sizzling and the kisses swoony, both the language and physical attraction are clean and wholesome.
Reviews for Lassos and Lace
- Konrie: Cute, fast paced. I LOVE THE MCQUAID LEGACY. I love that this one kinda pokes fun at some tropes and reminds us that it isn’t about finding “the one” it is about choosing “the one” and clinging to them and making them a priority. It was wonderful.
- Tonna: I usually do not go for the insta-love trope, but the way these two fell for each other was perfect! I did not think I could love this book as much as the first two and cannot wait for the next one! Clean romance with faith like morals… perfection!
- Melmo2610: This series is so much fun! I love the light easy romances at Healing Springs Ranch, they just make me smile. Emberly and Max were adorable characters and I loved the vibes in this story. Can’t wait for the rest of the series!
- Brittany: What a delightful story! I loved the emotional journey that Max and Emberly took in this novel. Yep, I enjoyed this story so much and loved the way the emotions ramped up toward the end of the book. And, the epilogue was so sweet! Loved it!
- Jenna: Such a sweet and uplifting romance it has that perfect blend of heart, charm, and emotional depth that makes it incredibly easy to fall into. The historical, small-town feel adds a cozy layer to the story, and the pacing keeps things engaging without ever feeling rushed.
