“This one’s worth rounding up.” —Booklist, on Falling for the Cowgirl
*All of the books in the Colorado Cowgirls series are sweet, closed-door romances with plenty of sizzle. The inspirational themes are light, and the romance is the main focus of the books.
Reviews for Convincing the Cowgirl
- Hannah: Amazing!! I’m glad I can enjoy a good romance book that makes you smile and even giggle like a school girl around her first crush but keeps things behind closed doors like they should be.
- Paula: Fun and romance in the old West. One of my favorite tropes is a marriage of convenience but this one has a little twist of a mistaken bride. This may be my favorite the Colorado Cowgirls.
- Sylvia: Convincing the Cowgirl features sizzling but sweet romance and a lovely story of family and trust. I related to Patience in many ways, and I appreciated seeing her struggles represented in historical fiction.
- Margaret: Hedlund does a great job with misunderstandings, mishaps, and muddled perceptions. The characters are great, especially the 4 year old who leads everyone for a romp.
- Brandi: A marriage of convenience, rife with misunderstandings, scandal, and a rambunctious little girl create the perfect backdrop. Learning to love and learning to communicate allowed for so much growth, intimacy, and common ground. I adored [Spencer and Courtney] as characters as well as a couple and wholeheartedly recommend them all lovers of passionate, clean, romance.
- Jenessa: I LOVE marriage of convenience books and this was no exception!! Also opposites attract!! Patience was fun and quirky and a scatterbrain and Spencer was serious and focused and her complete opposite. I liked how they had to face their insecurities and fears and learn to love each other despite the fears.
